Milbank Sponsors ATL Women’s Rugby – Supporting the Next Generation of Female Players
As part of our commitment to supporting growth, wellbeing, and opportunity through sport, Milbank Concrete Products is proud to sponsor ATL Women’s Rugby, part of Tring Rugby Club.
This partnership has provided the club’s women’s teams with brand-new, professional-quality kit proudly displaying the Milbank logo. For many of the players, this is the first time they’ve had a properly fitted, female-cut kit – a big step up from the hand-me-down shirts they’d previously worn. The result? A team that looks and feels the part both on and off the field.
And what a season it’s been. With two age groups taking County Cup wins and the teams celebrating victory at the RAF Girls Festival of Rugby 2025, ATL Women’s Rugby has enjoyed an outstanding year – growing in numbers and confidence throughout.
“It’s great to get local support – not just for the players, but for their parents and coaches too, who feel a great sense of pride,” said a club spokesperson.
“With Milbank’s help, we’ve been able to buy kit that truly represents our club. The fitted shirts mean the girls feel more comfortable, confident, and professional – and they look fantastic on game day.”
U14s Captain Tabbie added:
“It felt more professional and we were finally playing in kit that fitted us. It made us look smarter and play better – and the fitted shirts mean the opposition can’t hold on to us!”
The team’s coaches also highlighted how sponsorship makes a lasting difference for a volunteer-run club:
