Position: Trainee Estimator

Hours/Location: 40 hours (Mon-Fri) Office based.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Estimator. No previous construction or estimating experience is required. We will provide full training, guidance and support to help you develop the technical knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluating drawings to produce accurate take-offs/mark-ups of the project.
• To produce accurate quotations that reflects the clients’ requirements.
• Talk with customers via telephone and email to answer any questions in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor the workload and prioritise your time in consultation with the Estimating Supervisor.
• Update our internal 4P system to reflect the status of each enquiry/quotation.
• Perform other tasks and duties as reasonably requested by the Estimating Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be very detail orientated and understand the importance of being diligent.

Can communicate in a clear and concise manner at all levels with customers and the ability to use their own initiative that may add benefit the customer as well as our business.
