Milbank feature stair installed at St. Georges college

Work is well underway at the brand new activity centre for St George’s Weybridge College in Surrey. Working on behalf of Blenheim House Construction, we produced these extremely unique precast concrete stair flights with attached precast viewing platforms to form the internal feature staircase.

The project, with an estimated value of £15m, incorporates a flowing curved roof, bespoke rainscreen, curtain walling and obscure cladding, exposed concrete and blockwork finishes and extensive internal glazing to provide a light and modern feel to the reception and circulation space.

Other elements include a gymnasium, dance studio and café, along with changing and administration facilities. The project is estimated to be finished towards the end of 2019.
